Ingredients

- 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup Cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- 1 cup Fresh fruit (e.g., strawberries, blueberries, bananas)
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, whisk together the milk, sugar, cornstarch, and salt until smooth.
- Place the saucepan over medium heat and cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture starts to thicken and bubble.
- Once thickened, remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and butter until smooth.
- Pour the pudding into serving dishes and let it cool to room temperature.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.
- Before serving, top with fresh fruit of your choice.
Notes
- You can use any combination of fresh fruit for topping.
- For a richer flavor, use whole milk or add a splash of heavy cream.
