- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 jar (24 ounces) marinara sauce
- Olive oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
- Pour marinara sauce over the meatballs in the skillet. Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
- Serve meatballs with marinara sauce over pasta or on their own.
Notes
- For added flavor, you can mix in Italian seasoning or crushed red pepper flakes.
- These meatballs can be made ahead of time and stored in the freezer.
- Serve with garlic bread and a side salad for a complete meal.
