Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 whole wheat burger buns
  • Lettuce, tomato, and your favorite toppings

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix until well combined, but do not overmix to keep the burgers tender.
  3. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into patties.
  4. Preheat your grill or a grill pan over medium heat.
  5. Cook the turkey burgers for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  6. Toast the burger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes until golden.
  7. Assemble the burgers with your desired toppings and serve immediately.

Notes
