- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 whole wheat burger buns
- Lettuce, tomato, and your favorite toppings
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until well combined, but do not overmix to keep the burgers tender.
- Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into patties.
- Preheat your grill or a grill pan over medium heat.
- Cook the turkey burgers for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Toast the burger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes until golden.
- Assemble the burgers with your desired toppings and serve immediately.
Notes
- For added moisture, you can mix in 1 tablespoon of olive oil or use ground turkey with higher fat content.
