- 1 package (1 lb) pizza dough
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional for garnish)
- Marinara sauce for dipping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix together the mozzarella, Parmesan, ricotta, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick.
- Cut the dough into strips, about 1 inch wide and 6 inches long.
- Place a generous amount of the cheese mixture onto one end of each strip and fold the dough over to create a pocket. Pinch the edges to seal.
- Place the stuffed breadsticks onto the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with olive oil.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the breadsticks are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
- Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
Notes
- Feel free to add other fillings such as pepperoni or vegetables for extra flavor.
- These breadsticks can be frozen before baking. Just thaw and bake when ready to enjoy.
