Ingredients

  • 2 ribeye steaks (or your choice of cut)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the steaks dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Rub the spice mixture all over the steaks, coating them evenly.
  5. Place the steaks in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not touching.
  6. Cook the steaks for 10-12 minutes for medium-rare, flipping halfway through the cooking time.
  7. Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness: 130°F (54°C) for medium-rare, 140°F (60°C) for medium.
  8. Once cooked to your liking, remove the steaks from the air fryer and let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • Cooking times may vary depending on the thickness of the steak.
  • For a more intense flavor, marinate the steaks for a few hours before cooking.
