Description

  • 1/2 pound ground pork
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cups marinara sauce
  • 12 ounces spaghetti
  • Extra Parmesan cheese for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix until well combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Pour marinara sauce over meatballs, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes, until cooked through.
  5. Meanwhile, cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  6. Serve meatballs and sauce over spaghetti, garnished with extra Parmesan cheese.
