Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking until fragrant.
  2. Add chicken breast to the pot and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in chopped cabbage, soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 5-10 minutes, until the cabbage is tender and the chicken is cooked through.
  4. In a separate pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add white rice and a pinch of salt. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 18-20 minutes, or until rice is fluffy and water is absorbed.
  5. Serve the chicken and cabbage mixture over the steamed white rice.

Notes

  • Feel free to add other vegetables like carrots or bell peppers for extra flavor and nutrition.
  • To enhance flavor, marinate the chicken in soy sauce and ginger for at least 30 minutes before cooking.
