Description

This creamy garlic shrimp pasta is a quick and easy dish that combines succulent shrimp with a rich and creamy garlic sauce. Perfect for a weeknight dinner!


Ingredients

  • 8 oz linguine or spaghetti
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese, and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Add the cooked pasta and shrimp back to the skillet. Toss to coat everything in the creamy sauce.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley and red pepper flakes if desired. Serve immediately.
