Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 sprig Fresh rosemary
  • 4 medium Potatoes
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 1/2 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 bottle Wine

Instructions

  1. Season the steaks generously with salt and black pepper.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steaks and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until your desired doneness.
  3. Add minced garlic to the skillet in the last minute of cooking and spoon the oil over the steak for added flavor.
  4. Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes.
  5. Meanwhile, boil the potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
  6. Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add butter and heavy cream, then mash until smooth and creamy. Season with salt to taste.
  7. Serve the steaks with a side of creamy mashed potatoes and a glass of your favorite wine.
  8. Garnish with a sprig of fresh rosemary if desired.
