Ingredients

  • 2 lbs pork shoulder
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 12 slider buns
  • Coleslaw (for topping, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your slow cooker on low.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Rub this mixture all over the pork shoulder.
  3. Place the seasoned pork shoulder into the slow cooker and pour the barbecue sauce over it.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the pork is tender and shreds easily.
  5. Once cooked, remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred it with two forks.
  6. Mix the shredded pork with the remaining barbecue sauce in the slow cooker.
  7. To assemble the sliders, place a generous amount of pulled pork on each slider bun and top with coleslaw if desired.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!
