Description

Crispy, golden potatoes made easily in the air fryer. Perfect as a side dish or snack!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 medium potatoes (Yukon Gold or Russet recommended)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt (to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper (to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon paprika (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into wedges or cubes, about 1-inch thick.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the potato pieces with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika until evenly coated.
  4. Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket in a single layer. You may need to cook in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
  5. Air fry for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking, until the potatoes are golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove from the air fryer and let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, soak the cut potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes before cooking, then dry thoroughly.
  • Feel free to experiment with different seasonings like Italian herbs or chili powder.
