Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1 package (14 oz) mini cocktail sausages
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
- Mustard or ketchup for dipping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
- Place one mini sausage on the wide end of each triangle.
- Roll the dough around the sausage, starting from the wide end and rolling toward the point.
- Place the wrapped sausages on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the tops with the beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm with mustard or ketchup for dipping.
Notes
- For a different flavor, try using cheese-filled sausages or adding cheese slices before rolling.
- You can use puff pastry instead of crescent roll dough for an even flakier texture.
- These can be made ahead of time and frozen before baking. Just add a few extra minutes to the baking time if baking from frozen.
