  • 1 pound Cocktail sausages
  • 2 sheets Puff pastry sheets

  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • as needed Mustard or ketchup (for dipping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface and cut each sheet into strips, about 1 inch wide.
  3. Place a cocktail sausage at one end of each strip and roll it up tightly, sealing the edges with a little egg wash.
  4. Arrange the rolled sausages on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving some space between each one.
  5. Brush the tops with egg wash and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  7. Serve warm with mustard or ketchup for dipping.

Notes

  • You can use crescent roll dough instead of puff pastry for a different texture.
  • Feel free to add cheese or other fillings inside the roll for extra flavor.
  • These can be made ahead of time and frozen. Just bake them straight from the freezer, adding a few extra minutes to the baking time.
