Description
A classic Philly cheesesteak recipe featuring tender beef, sautéed onions, and melted cheese served on a hoagie roll.

- 1 lb ribeye steak, thinly sliced
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 hoagie rolls
- 8 slices provolone cheese or Cheez Whiz
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the sliced onions and bell peppers, sautéing until soft and caramelized, about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove the vegetables from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the thinly sliced ribeye steak. Season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned, about 3-5 minutes.
- Return the sautéed onions and peppers to the skillet, mixing them with the beef until heated through.
- Divide the meat mixture into portions and top each with 2 slices of provolone cheese. Cover the skillet until the cheese is melted.
- Place the cheesesteak mixture into hoagie rolls and serve immediately.
