These fudgy peanut butter brownies are rich, chocolatey, and topped with a creamy peanut butter swirl. Perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth!

- 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup (40g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup (65g) all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup (125g) creamy peanut butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and sugar until well mixed.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract, and mix until smooth.
- Stir in the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder until just combined.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan and smooth it out.
- In a small bowl, microwave the peanut butter for about 20 seconds until it’s pourable.
- Drizzle half of the peanut butter over the brownie batter in the pan.
- Pour the remaining brownie batter over the peanut butter layer and smooth it out.
- Drizzle the remaining peanut butter on top and use a knife to swirl it into the batter.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean.
- Allow to cool in the pan before slicing into squares.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, add chocolate chips to the brownie batter.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
