Ingredients
Scale
- 2 dozen fresh clams, scrubbed
- 2 lbs small red potatoes, halved
- 4 ears of corn, husked and cut into thirds
- 1 lb smoked sausage, sliced
- 1 lemon, cut into wedges
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 2 tablespoons Old Bay seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

- Add the corn and sausage to the pot and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Carefully add the clams to the pot and sprinkle with Old Bay seasoning. Cover the pot and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the clams have opened.
- Remove from heat and discard any clams that did not open.
- Drain the pot and transfer the contents to a large serving platter.
- Drizzle the melted butter over the clams and vegetables, and serve with lemon wedges and fresh parsley.
Notes
- Ensure all clams are fresh and alive before cooking.
- Feel free to add other seafood such as shrimp or lobster for a special touch.
- For a more authentic experience, consider cooking the clam bake on the beach using a large fire pit.
