- 2 slices of bread (white or brioche)
- 2 slices of ham
- 2 slices of turkey
- 2 slices of Swiss cheese
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- Butter for frying
- Powdered sugar for serving (optional)
- Raspberry jam for serving (optional)
Instructions
- In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and Dijon mustard.
- Layer the ham, turkey, and Swiss cheese between the slices of bread to make a sandwich.
- Dip the sandwich in the egg mixture, making sure to coat both sides well.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt a tablespoon of butter.
- Add the sandwich to the skillet and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove from the skillet and let it rest for a minute.
- Dust with powdered sugar if desired, and serve with raspberry jam for dipping.
