Description

  • 2 slices of ham
  • 2 slices of turkey
  • 2 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • Butter for frying
  • Powdered sugar for serving (optional)
  • Raspberry jam for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and Dijon mustard.
  2. Layer the ham, turkey, and Swiss cheese between the slices of bread to make a sandwich.
  3. Dip the sandwich in the egg mixture, making sure to coat both sides well.
  4. In a skillet over medium heat, melt a tablespoon of butter.
  5. Add the sandwich to the skillet and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. Remove from the skillet and let it rest for a minute.
  7. Dust with powdered sugar if desired, and serve with raspberry jam for dipping.
