- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

- 1 cup mini marshmallows
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix together the melted butter and granulated sugar until combined.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- While the cake is baking, prepare the frosting. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the chocolate chips and heavy cream. Stir until the chocolate is melted and the mixture is smooth.
- Once the cake is done, remove it from the oven and immediately sprinkle the mini marshmallows on top.
- Pour the warm chocolate frosting over the marshmallows, spreading it evenly.
- Allow the cake to cool before cutting into squares and serving.
Notes
- For an extra touch, you can drizzle additional chocolate sauce on top before serving.
