Description
This refreshing mango sorbet is a perfect treat for hot summer days, made with ripe mangoes, sugar, and a splash of lime juice. It’s easy to make and requires no ice cream maker!
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 ripe mangoes, peeled and pitted
- 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup (120ml) fresh lime juice
- 1/2 cup (120ml) water
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the mangoes, sugar, lime juice, and water. Blend until smooth.
- Taste the mixture and adjust the sweetness or acidity by adding more sugar or lime juice if needed.
- Pour the mixture into a shallow dish and place it in the freezer.
- Every 30 minutes, stir the mixture with a fork to break up any ice crystals. Repeat this process for about 3-4 hours until the sorbet is firm and fluffy.
- Once ready, scoop the mango sorbet into bowls and serve immediately. Enjoy!
Notes
- Make sure to use ripe mangoes for the best flavor.
- If you have an ice cream maker, you can churn the mixture instead of using the manual freezing method.
