Description
A classic New England lobster roll featuring fresh lobster meat, lightly dressed and served in a buttery, toasted roll.

- 1 pound cooked lobster meat, chopped
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 New England-style hot dog buns
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, for toasting
- Lettuce leaves for serving (optional)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the chopped lobster meat, mayonnaise, lemon juice, chives, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add butter to the skillet and allow it to melt.
- Slice the hot dog buns down the middle, being careful not to cut all the way through, and open them up.
- Place the buns in the skillet, cut side down, and toast until golden brown.
- Remove the toasted buns from the skillet and fill each bun with the lobster mixture.
- If desired, place a lettuce leaf in each bun before adding the lobster.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious lobster rolls!
