This classic lobster roll is a New England favorite, featuring tender lobster meat tossed in a light mayonnaise dressing, served in a buttery toasted bun. Perfect for summer picnics or seafood lovers!

- 1 pound cooked lobster meat, chopped
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
- 1 tablespoon diced celery
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 New England-style hot dog buns
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the chopped lobster meat, mayonnaise, lemon juice, chives, celery, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until well combined.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat. Spread the softened butter on the outside of each hot dog bun.
- Place the buns in the skillet and toast until golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Remove the buns from the skillet and fill each bun with the lobster mixture.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your lobster rolls!
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of Old Bay seasoning to the lobster mixture.
