- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
- Butter or oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine cottage cheese, flour, egg, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Parmesan cheese. Mix until a soft dough forms.
- If the dough is too sticky, add a little more flour until it’s manageable.
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Using a spoon, drop small portions of the dough into the boiling water.
- Cook the dumplings until they float to the surface, about 3-5 minutes.
- Remove the dumplings with a slotted spoon and drain.
- In a skillet, heat butter or oil over medium heat. Add the dumplings and fry until golden and crispy.
- Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired, and serve warm.
