Description

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups Graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/3 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 large Eggs
  • 1 (14 oz) can Sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup Key lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon Lime zest
  • for serving Whipped cream
  • for garnish Lime slices

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Mix until well combined.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie pan to form the crust.
  4. Bake the crust in the preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes, or until lightly golden. Remove from oven and let cool.
  5. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, sweetened condensed milk, key lime juice, and lime zest until smooth.
  6. Pour the lime mixture into the cooled graham cracker crust.
  7. Bake the pie again for 10-12 minutes, or until the filling is set but still slightly jiggles in the center.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours to chill.
  9. Serve chilled with whipped cream and lime slices on top.
