- 1 1/2 cups Graham cracker crumbs
- 1/3 cup Granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, melted
- 3 large Eggs
- 1 (14 oz) can Sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup Key lime juice
- 1 tablespoon Lime zest
- for serving Whipped cream
- for garnish Lime slices
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Mix until well combined.
- Press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie pan to form the crust.
- Bake the crust in the preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes, or until lightly golden. Remove from oven and let cool.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, sweetened condensed milk, key lime juice, and lime zest until smooth.
- Pour the lime mixture into the cooled graham cracker crust.
- Bake the pie again for 10-12 minutes, or until the filling is set but still slightly jiggles in the center.
- Remove from the oven and let cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours to chill.
- Serve chilled with whipped cream and lime slices on top.
