- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer.
- Add the broccoli florets to the sauce and cook for about 4-5 minutes, until tender.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it with the creamy garlic sauce and broccoli.
- Sprinkle with red pepper flakes if desired, and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
