Ingredients
Scale
- 4 bone-in pork chops, about 1 inch thick
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme (optional)
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Pat pork chops dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
- In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, and any optional herbs.
- Rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides of the pork chops.
- Place the pork chops in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not overlapping.
- Cook for 12 to 15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C) and juices run clear.
- Remove pork chops from the air fryer and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For thicker chops, increase the cooking time by a few minutes.
- Always check the internal temperature with a meat thermometer for best results.
- Letting the pork chops rest allows the juices to redistribute, ensuring they stay juicy.
