Description

Deliciously spicy jalapeño peppers stuffed with creamy cheese and wrapped in crispy bacon.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 fresh jalapeño peppers
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 12 slices of bacon, cut in half

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the jalapeño peppers in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  4. Stuff each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.
  5. Wrap each stuffed jalapeño with half a slice of bacon and secure it with a toothpick if necessary.
  6. Place the wrapped jalapeños on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the cheese is bubbly.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add diced green onions or jalapeño slices to the cheese mixture.
  • Adjust the amount of cheese and spices to your taste preference.
  • For a healthier version, you can use turkey bacon instead of regular bacon.
