Deliciously spicy jalapeño peppers stuffed with creamy cheese and wrapped in crispy bacon.

- 12 fresh jalapeño peppers
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 12 slices of bacon, cut in half
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Slice the jalapeño peppers in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Stuff each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.
- Wrap each stuffed jalapeño with half a slice of bacon and secure it with a toothpick if necessary.
- Place the wrapped jalapeños on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the cheese is bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add diced green onions or jalapeño slices to the cheese mixture.
- Adjust the amount of cheese and spices to your taste preference.
- For a healthier version, you can use turkey bacon instead of regular bacon.
