- 12 fresh jalapeño peppers
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Cut the jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes for less heat.
- In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, bacon, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- Stuff each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.
- Set up a breading station: Place flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in another, and breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
- Dip each stuffed jalapeño first in the flour, then the egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- Place the breaded jalapeños on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and spray them lightly with cooking spray.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
