- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup sour cream
- 8 ounces egg noodles
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in the sliced mushrooms and cook until they are tender, about 5 minutes.
- Pour in the beef broth and add Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
- Reduce heat and stir in the sour cream until fully combined. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
- Meanwhile, cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Serve the creamy stroganoff over the cooked egg noodles and garnish with chopped parsley.
