Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and olive oil.
  2. Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper, then place them in a large zip-top bag or shallow dish.
  3. Pour the honey garlic mixture over the salmon, making sure each fillet is well coated.
  4. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.
  5. Preheat your grill or oven to medium-high heat.
  6. Remove salmon from the marinade (reserving the marinade) and place on the grill or in a baking dish.
  7. Cook salmon for 4-5 minutes per side, or until it flakes easily with a fork.
  8. In a small saucepan, bring the reserved marinade to a boil and let it simmer for 5 minutes to thicken.
  9. Drizzle the thickened sauce over the cooked salmon and garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
