Description

A refreshing and vibrant iced tea made from hibiscus flowers, perfect for warm days.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup Dried hibiscus flowers
  • 4 cups Water
  • 1/2 cup Sugar or honey
  • for garnish Lemon slices
  • for garnish Mint leaves

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
  2. Add 1 cup of dried hibiscus flowers to the boiling water.
  3. Reduce heat and let it simmer for about 15-20 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and strain the tea into a pitcher.
  5. If using, stir in 1/2 cup of sugar or honey until dissolved.
  6. Let the tea cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled.
  7. Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices and mint leaves if desired.
