Ingredients

  • 4 whole trout, cleaned and scaled
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Rinse the trout under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
  3. Place the trout on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Drizzle olive oil over the trout and rub it into the skin.
  5. Season the inside and outside of the trout with salt and pepper.
  6. Stuff each trout with minced garlic, chopped parsley, chopped dill, and lemon slices.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute other fresh herbs like thyme or basil based on your preference.
