Ingredients
Scale
- 4 whole trout, cleaned and scaled
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Rinse the trout under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
- Place the trout on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Drizzle olive oil over the trout and rub it into the skin.
- Season the inside and outside of the trout with salt and pepper.
- Stuff each trout with minced garlic, chopped parsley, chopped dill, and lemon slices.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute other fresh herbs like thyme or basil based on your preference.
- Serve with a side of vegetables or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
