- 2 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 1 cup green beans, trimmed
- 2 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 3 cloves garlic, minced
- to taste Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 1 teaspoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and golden brown. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the butter and let it melt. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the green beans to the skillet and sauté for 5-6 minutes, until tender but still crisp.
- Drizzle lemon juice over the green beans and toss to coat.
- Serve the chicken alongside the garlic butter green beans.
