Description

Juicy and sweet, grilled peaches are the perfect summer dessert. The caramelization from the grill enhances their natural sweetness and creates a delightful smoky flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ripe peaches, halved and pitted
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Honey or maple syrup for drizzling (optional)
  • Ice cream for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium heat.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the olive oil (or melted butter), brown sugar, and cinnamon.
  3. Brush the cut sides of the peach halves with the oil mixture.
  4. Place the peaches cut-side down on the grill. Grill for about 4-5 minutes until they have nice grill marks and are slightly softened.
  5. Flip the peaches and grill for an additional 2-3 minutes on the skin side.
  6. Remove from the grill and drizzle with honey or maple syrup if desired.
  7. Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream if you like.

Notes

  • Choose peaches that are ripe but still firm for the best grilling results.
  • Grilling time may vary based on the size and ripeness of the peaches.
  • For added flavor, you can sprinkle some crushed nuts on top before serving.
