- 1 cup (227g) unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups (400g) granulated sugar
- 1 cup (200g) brown sugar, packed
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour
- 1 cup (85g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup (175g) chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium heat, around 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Mix until well combined.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips if using.
- Grease a baking pan that fits on your grill with non-stick spray or butter. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
- Cover the pan tightly with aluminum foil to prevent moisture from getting in.
- Place the pan on the grill and close the lid. Grill for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Once done, carefully remove the pan from the grill and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.
