This rich and creamy chocolate mousse is the perfect easy summer dessert that requires almost no baking. It’s light, fluffy, and incredibly satisfying on a warm day!

- 200g dark chocolate, chopped
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 cups heavy cream, divided
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a heatproof bowl, combine the chopped dark chocolate and unsalted butter. Melt over a double boiler or in the microwave, stirring until smooth. Allow to cool slightly.
- In a mixing bowl, beat 1 cup of heavy cream with powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until soft peaks form.
- Gently fold the melted chocolate mixture into the whipped cream until fully combined.
- In another bowl, beat the remaining 1 cup of heavy cream until soft peaks form. Fold this into the chocolate mixture as well.
- Spoon the mousse into serving dishes and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until set.
- Serve chilled, and enjoy your delicious no-bake chocolate mousse!
