This low-carb and totally satisfying cabbage lasagna is perfect for those on a keto diet. It’s easy to make and packed with flavor!

- 1 large head of cabbage, leaves separated
- 1 lb ground beef or sausage
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups marinara sauce (sugar-free)
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for cooking
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add cabbage leaves and boil for 2-3 minutes until softened. Remove and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef or sausage, cooking until browned. Drain excess fat.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until combined.
- Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce in the bottom of a baking dish.
- Layer cabbage leaves, followed by the ricotta mixture, ground meat, marinara sauce, and mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with mozzarella on top.
- Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the top layer.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
