This easy chicken lasagna is cheesy, hearty, and can be prepared in just 45 minutes. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner!

- 9 lasagna noodles
- 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cups marinara sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, mix the shredded chicken, ricotta cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Layer 3 lasagna noodles over the sauce, followed by half of the chicken mixture, a third of the mozzarella cheese, and a third of the marinara sauce.
- Repeat the layers, ending with the remaining noodles, marinara sauce, and topping with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool for a few minutes, garnish with fresh basil if desired, and serve.
Notes
- You can add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms for extra nutrition.
- Feel free to use store-bought rotisserie chicken for a quicker option.
- This lasagna can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
