- 1 lb (450g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into thin strips
- 4 cups green cabbage, shredded
- 1 cup carrots, julienned
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 cups cooked jasmine rice
Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the sliced chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Stir in the shredded cabbage and carrots, and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
- Pour in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Stir well to combine and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Remove from heat and serve the stir fry over steamed jasmine rice.
Notes
- Feel free to add other vegetables, such as bell peppers or broccoli, for additional color and nutrition.
