- 2 racks Pork Ribs
- 1/2 cup BBQ Rub
- 1 cup Apple Juice
- 1 cup BBQ Sauce
- 2 cups Wood Chips (Hickory or Applewood)
Instructions
- Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C).
- Remove the membrane from the back of the pork ribs for better flavor absorption.
- Generously apply the BBQ rub on both sides of the ribs.
- Place the ribs in the smoker, bone side down, and add wood chips to the smoker box.
- Smoke the ribs for 3 hours, maintaining a consistent temperature.
- After 3 hours, wrap the ribs tightly in aluminum foil and pour apple juice inside the foil packet.
- Return the wrapped ribs to the smoker and cook for an additional 2 hours.
- Unwrap the ribs and brush a generous amount of BBQ sauce on both sides.
- Place the ribs back in the smoker for another 30 minutes to set the sauce.
- Remove the ribs from the smoker and let them rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
