Ingredients

  • 1 cup BBQ sauce

  • 8 hamburger buns
  • Coleslaw for topping

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together BBQ sauce, honey, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add the chicken thighs to the bowl and coat them thoroughly with the sauce mixture.
  3. Marinate the chicken for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight in the refrigerator.
  4. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the marinated chicken thighs for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  5. Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes.
  6. Shred the chicken using two forks and mix with any remaining BBQ sauce.
  7. Serve the shredded BBQ chicken on hamburger buns topped with coleslaw and pickles.
