Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, toss the green beans with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
- In a separate bowl, mix the panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning.
- Add the breadcrumb mixture to the green beans and toss until the beans are well coated with the crunchy toppings.
- Place the coated green beans in the air fryer basket in a single layer. You may need to work in batches.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the green beans are crispy and golden brown.
- While the green beans are cooking, prepare the dipping sauce by mixing the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt and pepper in a small bowl.
- Once the green beans are done, remove them from the air fryer and serve immediately with the dipping sauce.
Notes
- You can substitute the panko breadcrumbs with regular breadcrumbs if needed.
- Feel free to add different seasonings to the breadcrumb mixture according to your taste.
- For a spicier dipping sauce, add a dash of hot sauce or cayenne pepper.
