Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup chocolate chips or your favorite mix-ins

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  2. In another bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the vanilla extract and egg to the butter mixture, mixing until fully combined.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips or your favorite mix-ins.
  6. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  7. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of the cookie dough and place them in the air fryer basket, leaving space between each cookie.
  8. Air fry the cookies for 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and crispy on the outside.
  9. Remove the cookies from the air fryer and let them cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For best results, don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket.
  • You can customize the recipe by adding nuts, dried fruit, or different types of chocolate.
