- 1 pound asparagus, trimmed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1/4 cup shaved parmesan cheese
- Lemon wedges, for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, toss the trimmed asparagus with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Arrange the asparagus in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the asparagus is crispy and tender.
- While the asparagus is cooking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir in the lemon juice.
- Once the asparagus is cooked, remove it from the air fryer and drizzle the lemon butter over the top.
- Sprinkle with shaved parmesan cheese before serving.
- Serve warm with lemon wedges on the side, if desired.

- You can adjust the cooking time based on the thickness of the asparagus.
