Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream together butter and sugar, then add eggs and mix well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing just until combined.
- Fold in the cranberries and walnuts if using.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
