Deliciously sweet corn on the cob slathered with a rich and flavorful herb butter, perfect for summer barbecues and gatherings.
Ingredients

- 4 ears of corn, husked and cleaned
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- Fill a large pot with water and bring to a boil. Add the cleaned corn and cook for 5-7 minutes until tender.
- While the corn is cooking, prepare the herb butter. In a medium bowl, combine the softened butter, parsley, chives, basil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Once the corn is done, remove it from the pot and allow it to cool slightly. You can also grill the corn for a smoky flavor.
- Spread a generous amount of herb butter over each ear of corn while still warm.
- Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side for added flavor.
Notes
- Feel free to customize the herbs based on your preference. Dill or cilantro are also great options.
- For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the herb butter.
- You can make the herb butter ahead of time and store it in the refrigerator for up to a week.
