  • Author: ushinzomr

Description

Deliciously sweet corn on the cob slathered with a rich and flavorful herb butter, perfect for summer barbecues and gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ears of corn, husked and cleaned
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Fill a large pot with water and bring to a boil. Add the cleaned corn and cook for 5-7 minutes until tender.
  2. While the corn is cooking, prepare the herb butter. In a medium bowl, combine the softened butter, parsley, chives, basil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Once the corn is done, remove it from the pot and allow it to cool slightly. You can also grill the corn for a smoky flavor.
  4. Spread a generous amount of herb butter over each ear of corn while still warm.
  5. Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side for added flavor.

Notes

  • Feel free to customize the herbs based on your preference. Dill or cilantro are also great options.
  • For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the herb butter.
  • You can make the herb butter ahead of time and store it in the refrigerator for up to a week.
