  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour Classic Chocolate Chip Cookies
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup softened Unsalted Butter
  • 3/4 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed Brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
  6. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  7. Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

  • For a fun twist, add nuts or dried fruits to the cookie dough!
  • These cookies can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week.
