- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour Classic Chocolate Chip Cookies
- 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup softened Unsalted Butter
- 3/4 cup Granulated Sugar
- 3/4 cup packed Brown Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 2 Eggs
- 2 cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a small bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl, cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 9 to 11 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
- For a fun twist, add nuts or dried fruits to the cookie dough!
- These cookies can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week.
