Ingredients

  • 8 ounces of fettuccine or linguine pasta
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the shrimp with Cajun seasoning until well coated.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they are pink and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth.
  6. Add the cooked pasta and shrimp to the skillet, tossing to coat everything in the sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
