Instructions

  4. Remove from heat and stir in the butter, vanilla extract, and butterscotch flavoring if using.
  5. Pour the pudding into serving dishes and cover with plastic wrap, pressing it directly onto the surface to prevent a skin from forming.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
