Instructions

  1. Rinse the buckwheat groats under cold water and drain.
  2. In a medium saucepan, bring the vegetable broth or water to a boil.
  3. Add the rinsed buckwheat groats to the boiling liquid.
  4. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 15-20 minutes, or until the buckwheat is tender and the liquid is absorbed.
  5. Remove from heat and let it sit covered for an additional 5 minutes.
  6. Fluff the buckwheat with a fork and stir in the butter, fresh dill, salt, and pepper.
