Ingredients

  • 1 medium head of cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, water, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  2. Add the cauliflower florets to the batter, stirring to coat each piece evenly.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  5. Place the coated cauliflower florets in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they are not overcrowded. You may need to do this in batches.
  6. Air fry the cauliflower for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
  7. In a separate bowl, toss the cooked cauliflower with buffalo sauce and olive oil until fully coated.
  8. Return the buffalo cauliflower to the air fryer and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to set the sauce.
  9. Remove from the air fryer and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, you can spray the cauliflower lightly with cooking oil before air frying.
